بِسْمِbismiٱللَّهِllāhiٱلرَّحْمَٰنِr-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِr-raḥīmIn the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُar-raḥmān١(1)The Compassionate.عَلَّمَʕallamaٱلْقُرْءَانَl-qur'ān٢(2)Has taught the Quran.خَلَقَḵalaqaٱلْإِنسَٰنَl-'insān٣(3)He created man.عَلَّمَهُʕallamahuٱلْبَيَانَl-bayān٤(4)And taught him clear expression.ٱلشَّمْسُaš-šamsuوَٱلْقَمَرُwal-qamaruبِحُسْبَانٖbi-ḥusbān٥(5)The sun and the moon move according to plan.وَٱلنَّجْمُwan-najmuوَٱلشَّجَرُwaš-šajaruيَسْجُدَانِyasjudān٦(6)And the stars and the trees prostrate themselves.وَٱلسَّمَآءَwas-samā~'aرَفَعَهَاrafaʕahāوَوَضَعَwa-waḍaʕaٱلْمِيزَانَl-mīzān٧(7)And the sky, He raised; and He set up the balance.أَلَّا'allāتَطْغَوْا۟taṭḡawفِىfīٱلْمِيزَانِl-mīzān٨(8)So do not transgress in the balance.وَأَقِيمُوا۟wa-'aqīmuٱلْوَزْنَl-waznaبِٱلْقِسْطِbil-qisṭiوَلَاwa-lāتُخْسِرُوا۟tuḵsirūٱلْمِيزَانَl-mīzān٩(9)But maintain the weights with justice, and do not violate the balance.وَٱلْأَرْضَwal-'arḍaوَضَعَهَاwaḍaʕahāلِلْأَنَامِlil-'anām١٠(10)And the earth; He set up for the creatures.فِيهَاfīhāفَٰكِهَةٞfākihatunوَٱلنَّخْلُwan-naḵluذَاتُḏātuٱلْأَكْمَامِl-'akmām١١(11)In it are fruits, and palms in clusters.وَٱلْحَبُّwal-ḥabbuذُوḏuٱلْعَصْفِl-ʕaṣfiوَٱلرَّيْحَانُwar-rayḥān١٢(12)And grains in the blades, and fragrant plants.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān١٣(13)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?خَلَقَḵalaqaٱلْإِنسَٰنَl-'insānaمِنminصَلْصَٰلٖṣalṣālinكَٱلْفَخَّارِkal-faḵḵār١٤(14)He created man from hard clay, like bricks.وَخَلَقَwa-ḵalaqaٱلْجَآنَّl-jā~nnaمِنminمَّارِجٖmārijinمِّنminنَّارٖnār١٥(15)And created the jinn from a fusion of fire.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān١٦(16)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?رَبُّrabbuٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِl-mašriqayniوَرَبُّwa-rabbuٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِl-maḡribayn١٧(17)Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān١٨(18)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?مَرَجَmarajaٱلْبَحْرَيْنِl-baḥrayniيَلْتَقِيَانِyaltaqīyān١٩(19)He merged the two seas, converging together.بَيْنَهُمَاbaynahumāبَرْزَخٞbarzaḵunلَّاlāيَبْغِيَانِyabḡīyān٢٠(20)Between them is a barrier, which they do not overrun.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٢١(21)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?يَخْرُجُyaḵrujuمِنْهُمَاminhumaٱللُّؤْلُؤُl-lu'lu'uوَٱلْمَرْجَانُwal-marjān٢٢(22)From them emerge pearls and coral.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٢٣(23)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?وَلَهُwa-lahuٱلْجَوَارِl-jawāriٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُl-munša'ātuفِىfiٱلْبَحْرِl-baḥriكَٱلْأَعْلَٰمِkal-'aʕlām٢٤(24)His are the ships, raised above the sea like landmarks.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٢٥(25)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?كُلُّkulluمَنْmanعَلَيْهَاʕalayhāفَانٖfān٢٦(26)Everyone upon it is perishing.وَيَبْقَىٰwayabqāوَجْهُwajhuرَبِّكَrabbikaذُوḏuٱلْجَلَٰلِl-jalāliوَٱلْإِكْرَامِwal-'ikrām٢٧(27)But will remain the Presence of your Lord, Full of Majesty and Splendor.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٢٨(28)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?يَسْـَٔلُهُۥyas'aluhūمَنmanفِىfīٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِs-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِۚwal-'arḍi,كُلَّkullaيَوْمٍyawminهُوَhuwaفِىfīشَأْنٖša'n٢٩(29)Everyone in the heavens and the earth asks Him. Every day He is managing.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٣٠(30)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?سَنَفْرُغُsanafruḡuلَكُمْlakumأَيُّهَ'ayyuhaٱلثَّقَلَانِṯ-ṯaqalān٣١(31)We will attend to you, O prominent two.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٣٢(32)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?يَٰمَعْشَرَyāmaʕšaraٱلْجِنِّl-jinniوَٱلْإِنسِwal-'insiإِنِ'iniٱسْتَطَعْتُمْstaṭaʕtumأَن'anتَنفُذُوا۟tanfuḏūمِنْminأَقْطَارِ'aqṭāriٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِs-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِwal-'arḍiفَٱنفُذُوا۟ۚfanfuḏū,لَاlāتَنفُذُونَtanfuḏūnaإِلَّا'illāبِسُلْطَٰنٖbisulṭān٣٣(33)O society of jinn and humans! If you can pass through the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go ahead and pass. But you will not pass except with authorization.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٣٤(34)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?يُرْسَلُyursaluعَلَيْكُمَاʕalaykumāشُوَاظٞšūwāẓunمِّنminنَّارٖnārinوَنُحَاسٞwa-nuḥāsunفَلَاfa-lāتَنتَصِرَانِtantaṣirān٣٥(35)You will be bombarded with flares of fire and brass, and you will not succeed.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٣٦(36)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فَإِذَاfa'iḏaٱنشَقَّتِnšaqqatiٱلسَّمَآءُs-samā~'uفَكَانَتْfakānatوَرْدَةٗwardatanكَٱلدِّهَانِkad-dihān٣٧(37)When the sky splits apart, and becomes rose, like paint.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٣٨(38)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فَيَوْمَئِذٖfayawma'iḏinلَّاlāيُسْـَٔلُyus'aluعَنʕanذَنۢبِهِۦٓḏanbihī~إِنسٞ'insunوَلَاwal-āجَآنّٞjā~nn٣٩(39)On that Day, no human and no jinn will be asked about his sins.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٤٠(40)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?يُعْرَفُyuʕrafuٱلْمُجْرِمُونَl-mujrimūnaبِسِيمَٰهُمْbi-sīmāhumفَيُؤْخَذُfayu'ḵaḏuبِٱلنَّوَٰصِىbin-nawāṣīوَٱلْأَقْدَامِwal-'aqdām٤١(41)The guilty will be recognized by their marks; they will be taken by the forelocks and the feet.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٤٢(42)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?هَٰذِهِۦhāḏihīجَهَنَّمُjahannamuٱلَّتِىllatīيُكَذِّبُyukaḏḏibuبِهَاbihāٱلْمُجْرِمُونَl-mujrimūn٤٣(43)This is Hell that the guilty denied.يَطُوفُونَyaṭūfūnaبَيْنَهَاbaynahāوَبَيْنَwa-baynaحَمِيمٍḥamīminءَانٖ'ān٤٤(44)They circulate between it and between a seething bath.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٤٥(45)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?وَلِمَنْwa-limanخَافَḵāfaمَقَامَmaqāmaرَبِّهِۦrabbihīجَنَّتَانِjannatān٤٦(46)But for him who feared the standing of his Lord are two gardens.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٤٧(47)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?ذَوَاتَآḏawātā~أَفْنَانٖ'afnān٤٨(48)Full of varieties.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٤٩(49)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فِيهِمَاfīhimāعَيْنَانِʕaynāniتَجْرِيَانِtajrīyān٥٠(50)In them are two flowing springs.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٥١(51)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فِيهِمَاfīhimāمِنminكُلِّkulliفَٰكِهَةٖfākihatinزَوْجَانِzawjān٥٢(52)In them are fruits of every kind, in pairs.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٥٣(53)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?مُتَّكِـِٔينَmuttaki'īnaعَلَىٰʕalāفُرُشِۭfurušinبَطَآئِنُهَاbaṭā~'inuhāمِنْminإِسْتَبْرَقٖۚ'istabraqin,وَجَنَىwajanaٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِl-jannatayniدَانٖdān٥٤(54)Reclining on furnishings lined with brocade, and the fruits of the two gardens are near at hand.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٥٥(55)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فِيهِنَّfīhinnaقَٰصِرَٰتُqāṣirātuٱلطَّرْفِṭ-ṭarfiلَمْlamيَطْمِثْهُنَّyaṭmiṯhunnaإِنسٞ'insunقَبْلَهُمْqablahumوَلَاwa-lāجَآنّٞjā~nn٥٦(56)In them are maidens restraining their glances, untouched before by any man or jinn.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٥٧(57)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?كَأَنَّهُنَّka-'annahunnaٱلْيَاقُوتُl-yāqūtuوَٱلْمَرْجَانُwal-marjān٥٨(58)As though they were rubies and corals.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٥٩(59)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?هَلْhalجَزَآءُjazā~'uٱلْإِحْسَٰنِl-'iḥsāniإِلَّا'illaٱلْإِحْسَٰنُl-'iḥsān٦٠(60)Is the reward of goodness anything but goodness?فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٦١(61)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?وَمِنwa-minدُونِهِمَاdūnihimāجَنَّتَانِjannatān٦٢(62)And beneath them are two gardens.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٦٣(63)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?مُدْهَآمَّتَانِmudhā~mmatān٦٤(64)Deep green.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٦٥(65)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فِيهِمَاfīhimāعَيْنَانِʕaynāniنَضَّاخَتَانِnaḍḍāḵatān٦٦(66)In them are two gushing springs.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٦٧(67)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فِيهِمَاfīhimāفَٰكِهَةٞfākihatunوَنَخْلٞwanaḵlunوَرُمَّانٞwa-rummān٦٨(68)In them are fruits, and date-palms, and pomegranates.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٦٩(69)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?فِيهِنَّfīhinnaخَيْرَٰتٌḵayrātunحِسَانٞḥisān٧٠(70)In them are good and beautiful ones.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٧١(71)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?حُورٞḥūrunمَّقْصُورَٰتٞmaqṣūrātunفِىfīٱلْخِيَامِl-ḵīyām٧٢(72)Companions, secluded in the tents.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٧٣(73)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?لَمْlamيَطْمِثْهُنَّyaṭmiṯhunnaإِنسٞ'insunقَبْلَهُمْqablahumوَلَاwa-lāجَآنّٞjā~nn٧٤(74)Whom no human has touched before, nor jinn.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٧٥(75)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?مُتَّكِـِٔينَmuttaki'īnaعَلَىٰʕalāرَفْرَفٍrafrafinخُضْرٖḵuḍrinوَعَبْقَرِىٍّwa-ʕabqariyyinحِسَانٖḥisān٧٦(76)Reclining on green cushions, and exquisite carpets.فَبِأَىِّfabi-'ayyiءَالَآءِ'ālā~'iرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِtukaḏḏibān٧٧(77)So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?تَبَٰرَكَtabārakaٱسْمُsmuرَبِّكَrabbikaذِىḏīٱلْجَلَٰلِl-jalāliوَٱلْإِكْرَامِwal-'ikrām٧٨(78)Blessed be the name of your Lord, Full of Majesty and Splendor.
