بِسْمِbismiٱللَّهِllāhiٱلرَّحْمَٰنِr-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِr-raḥīmIn the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.أَلْهَىٰكُمُ'alhākumuٱلتَّكَاثُرُt-takāṯur١(1)Abundance distracts you.حَتَّىٰḥattāزُرْتُمُzurtumuٱلْمَقَابِرَl-maqābir٢(2)Until you visit the graveyards.كَلَّاkallāسَوْفَsawfaتَعْلَمُونَtaʕlamūn٣(3)Indeed, you will know. ثُمَّṯummaكَلَّاkallāسَوْفَsawfaتَعْلَمُونَtaʕlamūn٤(4)Certainly, you will know.كَلَّاkallāلَوْlawتَعْلَمُونَtaʕlamūnaعِلْمَʕilmaٱلْيَقِينِl-yaqīn٥(5)If you knew with knowledge of certainty.لَتَرَوُنَّlatarawunnaٱلْجَحِيمَl-jaḥīm٦(6)You would see the Inferno.ثُمَّṯummaلَتَرَوُنَّهَاlatarawunnahāعَيْنَʕaynaٱلْيَقِينِl-yaqīn٧(7)Then you will see it with the eye of certainty.ثُمَّṯummaلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّlatus'alunnaيَوْمَئِذٍyawma'iḏinعَنِʕaniٱلنَّعِيمِn-naʕīm٨(8)Then, on that Day, you will be questioned about the Bliss.
